Balsamic Bruschetta

Ingredients: – 4 large tomatoes, diced – 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped – 2 cloves garlic, minced – 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

– 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil – Salt and pepper to taste – Baguette or Italian bread, sliced

In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly coated.

Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning according to your preference.

Allow the bruschetta mixture to marinate for at least 15-20 minutes. This allows the flavors to meld together.

While the mixture is marinating, preheat your oven broiler or grill. Slice the baguette or Italian bread into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and toast under the broiler or on the grill until they are golden brown and crispy on the edges.

Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven or grill. Spoon the balsamic bruschetta mixture onto each slice, making sure to distribute the tomatoes and basil evenly.
