4 strips thick cut bacon ▢2 TB butter ▢1 lb Brussels sprouts halved ▢1/2 lg onion chopped ▢salt and pepper to taste


Step - 1

Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until golden. After allowing to cool on a paper towel, cut into small segments.  

Melt butter in the same skillet as the bacon fat over high heat. Add Brussels sprouts and chopped scallions. Twelve to fifteen minutes, stirring intermittently, cook the sprouts until golden brown. To taste, season with salt and pepper.

Step - 2

Return the bacon to the pan, then stir and serve.
